Gaud is an architectural style developed by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, who was born and lived in Catalonia. His jaw-dropping, highly colourful creations are highly distinctive due to the fascinating curves, angles and naturalistic details he incorporated into his works. Gaudi's projects contained combinations of ceramic tiles, ironwork, red-brick façades and other materials - all arranged in a startling and imaginative fashion.

Gaudi's most renowned projects include the unfinished Sagrada Família cathedral, the crypt in Colònia Güell, the Güell Palace, Casa Milà and Park Güell.
