Nsu, short for Norfolk State University, is a public historically black college located in Norfolk, Virginia. Founded in 1935, NSU is the state's second-oldest public university and is part of the Virginia public higher education system. It is also the only public HBCU (Historically Black College and University) in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.
