Stowe is a small town located in the Northern part of Vermont. The town is largely rural, but being just 16 miles from Montpelier, the capital of Vermont, it is also close enough to take part of the city life. Stowe is best known for its stunning natural experiences, with breathtaking valleys and mountains, as well as numerous parks, lakes, rivers and streams. It is also renowned for its skiing and snowboarding, with one of the longest ski seasons anywhere in the east. During the summer months the town becomes busy with biking, hiking, fishing, and kayaking, as well as engaging events and festivals held throughout the year.
