L cs, or League of Legends Championship Series, is the top level of competitive video gaming. It first began in 2011, and since then has grown immensely in size and popularity. The championship series is split into two tiers: The Challenger Series, which is the lower tier, and the LCS Professional Series, the higher tier. Players of both tiers compete in one of the two regions: North America and Europe.

The LCS is run by Riot Games and is broadcasted on various international platforms, including Twitch and YouTube. The tournaments are held in various cities across the world and feature the best players from all over the world.
