Ottfried is a German actor, comedian, screenwriter and director. He was born on April 28, 1961, and is best known for his roles in movies such as "Der Schuh des Manitu," "Männer wie wir" and "Winnetou." He is one of Germany's most successful entertainers, having been awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and several other awards throughout his career. His films have topped the German box office since the 1980s.
