"Dink" in context
Dink is a two-player tabletop strategy game similar to chess or checkers. It is believed to be an ancient game, with the game's earliest origins found in the Middle East countries around 650 AD. Dink is highly strategical, and is considered to be one of the oldest known abstract strategy games still played today.
To begin a game, the board consists of a 7x7 grid, with 49 squares. Two players then place pieces (called Dinks) on alternating squares. Movement of Dinks is not confined to just squares, as Dinks are able to jump over other pieces, as well.
